REPORT FROM LINDA LINGLE’S US SENATE CAMPAIGN – Governor Linda Lingle released today the first television ad in her campaign for Hawaii’s open U.S. Senate seat. The ad highlights Governor Lingle’s ability to listen to the people of Hawaii and garner positive results on behalf of the State.
“The partisan, gridlocked U.S. Congress is plagued by an inability to listen to the public’s concerns and to take bipartisan action that moves our country forward. The problems our country is facing are not Republican problems or Democrat problems, they are American problems; and they will require bipartisan solutions,” said Governor Lingle. “Throughout my career in public service, I have always placed a premium on listening to the people. This campaign is no different. I am committed to making sure this campaign remains centered on the people of Hawaii and, if I have the honor of serving Hawaii in the U.S. Senate, I will continue to put people first.”
