Monday, our campaign announced that we raised $558,000 in the second quarter of fundraising in our race for District 22. We now have over $1 million cash on hand for the general election in November and are well on our way to reaching our goal. This number is important because it shows the positive momentum that we continue to build.
We truly wouldn’t have been able to do this without you. The support we received in the second quarter proves just how important this election will be in fixing a broken Washington.
What better way to start off the month of July than with a great Independence Day? Jillian and I had a wonderful time walking in the Plantation Fourth of July parade, where we saw some great floats and met some enthusiastic supporters.
We spent the rest of the day meeting new friends throughout the district. We attended the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea 4th of July Celebration before going to the Boca West Country Club for their annual Independence Day BBQ. Later in the day, I was honored to speak at the City of Boca Raton “Fabulous Fourth” Celebration at FAU.
We’ve been working hard to build a strong grassroots team that will help us achieve victory in November and now that we have moved into the summer it is time to start ramping up our efforts. We’re already knocking on doors and making phone calls to get our message out to the voters of District 22. Be a part of our grassroots team and help us by signing up today on our website to volunteer.
So thank you again for your encouragement and your support. Now more than ever, we are counting on your continued support to help us keep this momentum going.
On the move,
