Rehberg should use taxpayer money on campaign mailings

Recently I received a glossy four-page mailing from Congressman Rehberg addressed to Montana seniors. On the last page, in very small print, is the notification “This mailing was prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense.”

This is not the first time I have received what is obviously campaign material, paid for at taxpayer expense, since the congressman declared his intention to run for the U.S. Senate. During this time I haven’t received any campaign material from Sen. Tester that was paid for by taxpayers.

I resent the congressman’s use of taxpayer dollars to send me campaign materials and urge him to lessen federal government spending by ending this practice that shows the poor judgment that this Montanan does not think proper for someone who aspires to represent me in the U.S. Senate.
